Laurelle Kanji is a musician, songwriter, educator and Mother of 3 high needs children with a keen interest in, and personal experience with the benefits of music and movement for early childhood development and learning. She has recorded and toured with multiple Juno award winner and nominee Bill Bourne, shared stages with the likes of Bedouin Soundclash, Chumba Wumba, Peter Yarrow (of Peter Paul and Mary) and many more. Having to put her music career on the back burner to motherhood and the needs of her children, she began volunteering her time to host music and movement sessions at several of the early childhood programs her own children attended, along with presenting and speaking about the importance of music and movement for young children. With this new found passion for the many benefits of music for folks of all ages, she began Mini Milestones Music to share it with you!
